Telecom FM Dataroute UMTS 3G Router

The Telecom FM Dataroute is a high speed wireless broadband router with embedded HSPA 3G module offering high speed HSDPA download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps and HDUPA Upload speeds of up to 5.76 Mbps.

The TelecomFM Dataroute features 4 x Ethernet ports and high speed N Wireless Wi-Fi Connectivity and is also a fully featured ADSL2/2+ Broadband Router offering the possibility of being used as a traditional wired broadband router with a built in 3G Mobile Broadband backup.

The Telecom FM Dataroute also features a Ping Reboot feature that means when it is being used in 3G mode, the unit will reboot and reconnect to the 3G network in the event that the mobile network drops the connection. This means that it can reliably be used for remote access and monitoring applications.

The current version of the Dataroute 3G Router has a fixed GSM/3G Antenna, which will shortly be replaced with a removable antenna with a standard SMA connector so that an external antenna can be connected.

This version is the entry level version of the Dataroute and does not feature the telephone port. The version of this router that supports the connection of an analogue telephone is the Dataroute Voice which will be available in August 2011.
