3CX Phone System is a software based IP PBX for Windows, which replaces traditional Hardware PBX Telephone Systems. 3CX IP PBX is based upon SIP Standard so will work with most VoIP Phones including Snom, Siemens, Aastra, Hitachi, Polycom and Grandstream and can also be used with a softphone and headset on a PC.
The 3CX IP Phone System can be used to make and receive telephone calls over VoIP Trunks, when subscribing to a VoIP SIp Trunk Provider or can be used in conjunction with a variety of VoIP Gateways to provide connections to traditional telephone lines such as Analogue Lines (PSTN), ISDN2e Lines (BRI Basic Rate ISDN), ISDN30e (PRI - Primary Rate ISDN) and GSM.
This makes the 3CX a simple to install and manage system, with the flexibility of being able to combine the latest in VoIP (Voice Over IP) technology with traditional and tested telephone lines.
