Cellroute GPRS

The Telecom FM Cellroute GPRS enables the connection of a standard telephone device such as a telephone or analogue trunk of a telephone system to enble calls directly to the GSM Mobile Phone Network.

In countries where having a fixed line is either an expensive option or network infrastructure does not exist, the CellRoute can provide fixed line functionality over the GSM network.

CellRoute provides users with high quality voice using EFR (Enhanced Full Rate) codecs and has a data link rate of up to 85.6kbps using GPRS for Email and Internet access (via RS232 serial connection to PC).

The CellRoute can be self-installed by the end user, making the provisioning cycle simple and reducing costs for the network operator. The unit comes with a built in antenna but also includes a 3db Hi-Gain Antenna in the box for low signal areas where a signal boost is required.

The unit has integrated batteries to cater for mains power outages. 11 hours of standby time is provided with a talk time of up to 2 hours.

The Telecom FM Cellroute GPRS will pass incomming CLI Caller ID to a suitable Caller ID Phone or phone system.
